Blush & Gold Star Wars Meets Marie Antoinette Styled Shoot

1024 682 Candybar Couture

When they say opposites attract, no one could have imagined how two things as different as Star Wars and Marie Antoinette could come together so beautifully in the styled shoot we recently did.

Taking bits and pieces of both style palettes, we utilized rose gold sequined table coverings while using muted colors with the florals. It didn’t matter where you looked, you were greeted with little details of both elements. Whether it be a Storm Trooper digging through a bowl of gold candies, C3PO wearing a lace face mask, or Yoda eating candy sushi with a pair of Light Saber chop sticks…somehow or another, every detail meshed together perfectly!

Luxury Candybar Featured on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style

933 622 Candybar Couture
We are featured in the Spring issue of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style… what a treat!
We had the pleasure of being part of the wedding for Edgar Zamora of Revelry Event Designers, and Celio Almeida of Celio’s Design, two dear friends of ours! This luxurious wedding had everything you could think of, from a guest musician and extravagant decor elements, to Brazilian dancers!
The candy bar we designed was an “after dinner” candy bar, consisting of coffee, liquor and chocolates from all over the world! The color scheme embraced a beige and brown color palette. It beautifully accompanied the all white reception.
Take a look at the 8 page feature spread of the wedding, as well as images of our candybar below.

Celio and Edgar wanted their reception to be unique, so they transformed the Hotel Bel Air ballroom with soft Italian chiffon drapery, a white seamless dance floor, blush and white florals and intriguing guest dining tables. Button tufted chairs, half moon shaped banquets and mirror top tables were set with crystal stemware and silver and gold flatware. Celio‘s elaborate and sophisticated floral designs perfectly matched Edgar‘s regal, custom designed reception furniture…”

“Dinosaur Adventure” Candybar Party Inspiration

933 777 Candybar Couture

We’re taking you on a dinosaur exploration adventure today!

We partnered with event designer Clarissa Rezende to bring this couture candybar to life for fashion celebrity Rachel Zoe’s sons, Sky and Kaius. This party had the kids on endless adventures!

This candybar was a trip in itself with cake, cupcakes, candy and fun themed drinks for the kids. The center of the candybar hosted the boys’ cake, that was overflowing in forest-inspired greenery and mini reptile toys.

The theme allowed for an experience of a beautifully thematic designed table. Dinosaur pillows and tan canvas blankets surrounded the party. Kids were able to lounge in the safari tent! Kids munched on “snake egg” gummy candies and stayed hydrated with water in ‘volcano lava’ cups!

The table was completely covered in “forest moss” and toy snakes. Tan and brown suitcases gave the table and party various eye-catching levels, and our famous candy kebob’s were styled on a black barbeque to add to the adventure theme. A life-size crocodile laid along the seat of the candy bar table. The finishing touches were the ‘dirt’ cupcakes complete with chocolate sprinkles… when we have a theme to work with, we embrace it at every level!

Canteens, life-size dinosaurs and a live band kept party guests entertained as well. Signs like “beware of dinosaurs” and “keep hydrated” nodded to the fun and adventurous design!

Guest were humorously warned that “in case a dinosaur appears… run!”

Thank you Rachel Zoe for allowing us to be part of another one of your events! Celebrating your awesome sons with all the fun and love in the room was such a pleasure!

Carnival Birthday Party Candybar

933 697 Candybar Couture

Come one, come all, to the Carnival Candy Bar!

Madison’s 1st birthday was a Carnival dream come true. This grand event took place on the lawn of Hillcrest Country Club. Family and friends from all over traveled to see the carnival ‘come to town’ for Madison. It was pleasure being part of this event and bringing the theme to life in a unique, fun and interactive way.

This fun party had everything from cotton candy and corndogs, to sweets and popcorn! Bright lights, fun and loud colors, and balloons brought extra fun. Guests got to try their luck at various games and booths too. This theme allowed us to really go for it design wise, and create a detailed and beautifully thematic tablescape.

Our candy bar design was three tables long, full of sweet treats with a stunning carnival cake in the center. Clown cupcakes were scattered around the table. We had so much fun partnering with Clarissa Rezende to add fun carnival style items from Chakoda Design like the barker, carousel horse, elephant and bear. Bright red hydrangea blooms and red roses in high vases were placed throughout the candy bar to add dimension and height to the design.

We’re known for our awesome Candy Kebobs, so we definitely had to include them on this table! Bright pink and red candies of many shapes were used on them. We had fun picking out gum balls and chocolates that incorporated the color schemes. Rock candies were given out to the guests to enjoy.

We even created custom baggies with Madison’s name on them and a carnival tent for guests to take home their favorites. Having the freedom to design to our heart’s content brought this candy bar to a whole new level!

Thank you Karina Pires Photography for the stunning images of our design!

Keith Urban Rustic Country Inspired Candybar for The Special Event 2017

682 1024 Candybar Couture

It was so wonderful being part of the much-awaited 2017 Wedding Event for The Special Event!

We designed a beautiful country rustic 360 degree candy bar that wowed the 650 guests. This design was truly an interactive showstopper. Every angle was a new aspect of the design. We had gold wrapped chocolates and luminescent white jelly beans. Sugar candy sticks and pink gum balls added color and fun.

We had gorgeous vintage rustic rentals by Sweet Salvage Rentals that added dimension and height. Our favorite Sweet Salvage Rentals piece was their Carolina Shores trunk!

Stunning and grand blooms by The Empty Vase was the topper to our masterpiece. With both eye-catching and delicious sweets from top to bottom, guests got to move about the space and collect their desserts!

Take a look at our design, and the rest of this beautiful rustic event!
